Has anyone mentioned that they love Kevin Parker today? Well watch Tame Impala cover Kylie Minogue‘s 1994 single “Confide In Me” on Australian radio station Triple J – Like A Version and you will be singing those daily praises of Kevin Parker.
Parker, a known Kylie Minogue fan, has transformed the song into a psychedelic rock ‘n’ roll opus, while still holding true to the original track. Tame Impala’s version starts out sounding like the theme to the next Bond movie. Has anyone ever doubted Kevin Parker’s vocal ability? His voice can transcend any song, and but the range he is showing here is just flat out unfair. And holy hell, when that guitar solo hits, that’s when minds are lost.
