PARKLIFE ADDS CHRIS STAPLETON TO SECOND ANNUAL FESTIVAL ON OCTOBER 18, 2015

VIP TICKETS ARE NOW SOLD-OUT

Today PARKLIFE has announced another addition to their one day festival: critically acclaimed artist Chris Stapleton will join headliner Jason Isbell, plus Strand of Oaks and Natalie Prass, for its second annual event this fall, in conjunction with The Atlanta BeltLine. On the heels of “Best of 2015” nods from Rolling StoneNPR, and Entertainment Weekly for his recent release, Traveller, and a sold-out performance in Atlanta, Stapleton will perform on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta, GA. Headlining the event is Jason Isbell, whose album, Something More Than Free, is currently the #1 Country Album and #1 Top Rock Album on the Billboard Charts.

For a small one day festival such as this, it doesn’t get much better. If you love Jason Isbell, there is no doubt you’ll love every single act on this lineup. While each of these acts are different, from country to rock ‘n’ roll, this is a carefully curated lineup where a person going in as a fan of one artist will truly be able to appreciate and love every single artist playing in Piedmont Park that day. Chris Stapleton is one of the best things going in real country music these days.  A true throw back to when country music was great. Natalie Prass is a star in the making. Strand of Oaks has some of the most honest and introspective lyrics around right now and totally blew us away live at The EARL last year in East Atlanta. To say his show rocked is an understatement. And well, Isbell? #1 on the Country and Rock charts? Wow. We are talking about one of the best songwriters of today.

So go ahead and get your tickets and plan on getting there early to check out all of these acts. Tickets to the one-day event are currently on sale for $45 at parklifefest.comticketmaster.com, and all Ticketmaster outlets. VIP tickets, which include access to a special viewing area, exclusive VIP bar options and private restrooms, are now sold-out.

Named “Atlanta’s Hottest New Indie Festival” by Atlanta Music Guide, PARKLIFE moves to its new home at The Promenade at Piedmont Park and will feature food and craft beverages from local vendors. The festival prides itself on being a local event for music lovers in a setting that celebrates Atlanta and has previously featured acts including Jake Bugg, The Lone Bellow, The Wild Feathers, LP, The Weeks, and more.

If there is one festival you will catch us at this fall in Piedmont Park, this is #1 on our list. See you there?
