Being a holiday week, this New Music Tuesday is a little lighter on the big releases, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of new and interesting releases to check out this week.
Coma Girls self titled album is the perfect summer listening, with their 50’s-60’s inspired jangly garage surf pop rock (does that explain it enough?). Good Old War always puts out solid indie folk rock, Joy Williams has left The Civil Wars with her own solo album, Bilal has all of your R&B needs with a soulful alternative record, LA Priest may just have the best and most interesting release this week, and you can’t go wrong with new Neil Young.
