WATCH: Cellars “Do You Miss Me”

Are you a fan of the synth-pop sound found in 1980’s electronic music, Ariel Pink , or new music?

Cellars is the answer for you if you answered ‘yes’ to any of those questions.

The solo project was launched initially in 2013 by Allene Norton. The now twenty-six-year-old singer/songwriter began by releasing a number of singles. Tracks such as “Computer Simulation” were released starting in 2014.

This was none other than Los Angeles native Ariel Rosenberg (Ariel Pink), leading to a collaboration of Rosenberg and Norton.

One year later Phases is now bestowing its beauty to our ears. Norton continued with her style and Rosenberg added his production techniques to the 2016 release.

“Do You Miss Me” is one of my personal favorite songs from the album. It’s exciting to see a music video accompany the song. The wide variety of shots beautifully captures Norton’s figure grooving through neon lighting and delivering delightful pop vocals. The video is accompanied by lushly presented visuals from Thomas McMahan (Demon Queen/Autolux).
